Building Research Competencies for Community-Based Collaboration Between Oklahoma Tribes and OUHSC

The program builds upon the lessons learned from the Oklahoma Native American Research Center for Health (ONARCH) Faculty Development & Mentoring Program (FDMP). The ONARCH FDMP was established in 2007 as a collaboration between the Chickasaw Nation, the Cherokee Nation, and the Office of Faculty Development and Interdisciplinary Programs at OUHSC. This program seeks to improve the research skills in community-based collaborative projects, involving both tribal staff and OUHSC faculty, and to build an enduring partnership between the Indian Tribes and OUHSC. 

Oklahoma Center for Mentoring Excellence

The Oklahoma Center for Mentoring Excellence provides comprehensive mentor development workshops for faculty focused on clinical and translational research, faculty from associated IDeA programs, and any faculty from OUHSC.
