The OSCTR Pilot Projects Program

The goal of the OSCTR is to improve our existing infrastructure and to provide the tools that investigators need to attract new research support for innovative and collaborative clinical and translational research programs that focus efforts on the major health challenges of our state, our partner IDeA states and our underserved communities. By providing early support through leadership, grant funding, and mentorship to investigators with meritorious projects, we will identify and train a new generation of well-trained and funded investigators that will be more readily equiped to translate scientific discoveries into practical applications to improve the health of our citizens.

The OSCTR Pilot Project Program solicits and funds highly innovative grants that promote and encourage multidisciplinary and collaborative clinical and translational research projects. The program provides mentoring to pilot project recipients and applicants to identify and secure appropriate resource to expand and complete their initial projects. 

Who can apply for pilot and feasibility project funding?

Principal Investigators with a full-time faculty appointment at the applicant and/or partnering institutions
